    228 Peace Memorial Park

    After an amazing museum tour, hop on bus/ MRT to departure to 228 Peace Memorial Park. The park is built in a traditional style, with Japanese garden landscaping and ponds, arched bridges, walking paths, and an amphitheater. A monument is built in the park in order to remember the innocent people who sacrificed in the history incident in February 28, 1947.

    Then stop by Presidential Office Building, a neo-renaissance architecture built in the 1910s. It is also a symbolic landmark and historical site in Taipei City.

    Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall

    The next stop is Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, an impressive monument in memory of Taiwan’s former president Chiang Kai-shek. Surrounded by white walls with blue-tiled roof, the park contains an archway, a square, and a garden. If you arrive on the hour during 09:00-17:00, you may have a chance to watch an amazing guard changing ceremony.

    The tour will end at Taipei 101, one of the tallest buildings in the world, and also known as Taipei World Financial Center. Here you can ride one of the world’s fastest elevators to the observatory floor, and enjoy a panoramic view of Taipei (ticket is not included), or enjoy some shopping time at the mall.
