Tourist Code of Conduct: A Guideline for Travelers, Tour Leaders, and Partners

  1. Safe Travel:

During epidemic prevention periods, it is recommended to bring two face masks each day. Please sanitize your hands with alcohol and wear a mask when boarding and alighting from tour buses. Maintain social distancing during both indoor and outdoor activities. Remove masks only while dining, and avoid conversation during meals. Replace handshakes with a respectful bow and avoid physical contact to reduce the risk of infection.

  1. Dress Comfortably:

Wear comfortable, easy-to-move-in clothing. Bring a light jacket to adjust to indoor air conditioning and the large temperature differences between day and night. Casual footwear such as sneakers, sports shoes, or comfortable flats is recommended.

  1. Sun Protection & Hydration:

Bring sunshades, sun protection products, and stay hydrated throughout the day. When near water, use environmentally friendly sunscreen—not only to protect your skin but also to safeguard the environment.

  1. Stay Protected & Dress Smart: Insect Bite Prevention Tips:

To avoid insect bites, wear long sleeves and long pants, especially in areas with high mosquito activity. You may also bring insect repellent, mosquito patches, or mosquito-repellent wristbands for added protection. Choose light, breathable fabrics to stay comfortable while staying safe.

  1. Be Weather-Wise: Prepare for Sudden Changes: Weather during the trip may shift unexpectedly, so it’s important to stay informed. Check the Central Weather Administration forecast before departure and bring suitable rain gear such as a lightweight raincoat or compact umbrella. Being prepared ensures a smoother and more enjoyable travel experience—rain or shine.
  1. Stay with the Group: Follow the Itinerary for a Safe Journey

This trip is organized around group activities, so please remain with the group at all times unless absolutely necessary. If an emergency arises or you need to step away temporarily, be sure to notify the organizer or tour staff. You may only leave after signing a departure consent form. Staying together ensures everyone’s safety and helps the trip run smoothly for all.

  1. Stay Informed & Travel Responsibly: Safety During Free Time

If you plan to go out during the night or during free time, please inform the group leader or a fellow group member, and prioritize your personal safety. Always pay close attention to staff instructions, including safety videos and announcements. Follow all rules and guidelines at tourist attractions, restaurants, hotels, and amusement facilities. Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and response procedures to ensure a safe and smooth journey.

  1. Special Dietary Needs: Confirm in Advance
If you have special meal requests (e.g., vegetarian), please reconfirm before departure to ensure proper arrangements can be made. Early communication helps avoid inconvenience and ensures a smooth dining experience during the trip.
  1. Pack for the Planet: Embrace Green Travel
Support sustainable tourism by bringing your own reusable cup, food containers, and personal toiletries. Small actions like these reduce single-use waste and help protect the environment we’re here to enjoy.
  1. Respect Nature: Keep It Clean & Green
The activity area is a natural environment. Please minimize waste, avoid littering, and sort your trash properly throughout the trip. Let’s leave no trace and preserve the beauty for future visitors.
  1. Support Local, Say No to Wildlife Souvenirs
Choose locally produced agricultural goods and eco-friendly handicrafts. Avoid purchasing souvenirs made from wildlife—such as corals, birds, or shells—to help protect biodiversity and discourage harmful trade.
  1. Enter with Respect: Community & Cultural Etiquette
When visiting communities or tribal areas, keep your voice down, avoid littering (especially cigarette butts and plastic bags), and respect the rights, traditions, and privacy of local residents—including children.
  1. Explore Gently: Protect Plants & Wildlife
Feel free to explore the local area, but please do not break branches or disturb vegetation for easier observation or photography. Let’s admire nature without harming it.
